Dr. Daniel Joseph

Emergency Medicine Physician

Dr. Joseph is an Emergency Medicine physician having completed his residency training at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center as well as a fellowship in EMS and Disaster Medicine at Denver Health in Colorado. He is ABEM board certified in both Emergency Medicine and EMS, as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (EM). Prior to moving to Canada, Dr. Joseph was an Assistant Professor in the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of British Columbia’s Department of Emergency Medicine. 

Dr. Joseph completed medical school at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. During training and as faculty, he provided medical coverage for multiple sporting events including the Los Angeles Marathon as well college football, lacrosse, and basketball.

Dr. Joseph is passionate about sports medicine, in particular working with athletes to rehabilitate injuries and optimize performance.  When not working clinically, Dr. Joseph enjoys travel, the outdoors, jiu jitsu, ultramarathons, and spending time with his family.
